प्रवाह का आशय वहाव से है जिसके अंर्तगत अंतरप्रवाह एवं बाहरी प्रवाह दोनों शामिल होते है। कोष प्रवाह का आशय एक निश्चित अवधि में कोष होने वाले अंतर से यह है कोष का प्रवाह तव मन जाता है जब लेन-देन के पूर्व के कोष में अंतर हो जाए | यह परिवर्तन धनात्मक अथवा ऋणात्मक कुछ भी हो सकता है, अर्थात कार्यशील पूँजी से कमी अथवा वृद्धि को कोष प्रवाह कहा जाता है । कार्यशील पूँजी को प्रभावित करने वाले लेन-देन कोष के श्रोत अथवा उपयोग के रूप में कार्य करते है।
Flow refers to flow under which both internal flow and external flow are included. Fund flow refers to the difference in funds in a certain period. This means that the flow of funds is considered when there is a difference in the funds before the transaction. This change can be positive or negative, that is, decrease or increase from working capital is called fund flow. Transactions affecting working capital act as sources or uses of funds.

कोष प्रवाह विवरण तैयार करने के लिए सबसे (Changes in Working Capital Statement) तैयार करना पड़ता है । इस Statement को बनाने से Working Capital में कितना Increase या Decrease हुआ है । इसके बाद fund flow Statement तैयार किया जाए।

इस Statement को बनाने से प्राप्त fund के श्रोतो को इस statement के Left side में लिखा जाता है जबकि Right side में Increase को दिखाया जाता है. The amount of funds received by making this statement is written on the left side of this statement while the increase is shown on the right side.
